Jack Dearden has joined London based TV station Channel L as the new face of its weekly Rugby League show Code XIII.
Dearden, whose experience as a broadcaster includes being the voice behind the Rugby League Hour on BBC Radio London, will front the returning programme which was such a hit with viewers last season.
"I'm delighted to be involved with Channel L 's Rugby League coverage which brings more exposure to what I've always considered to be the best sport in the world ," said Dearden.
"There are some fantastic specialist features planned, and great guests, both past and present, have already commited to being part of the new series of the programme
"Its always exciting to be involved in new ventures, and I'm looking forward to the challenge of providing Rugby League fans with a great variety of match coverage, issues and topics "
The show will once again focus on Salford City Reds, Wigan Warriors, Leigh Centurions, Rochdale Hornets, Swinton Lions and Oldham Roughyeds, as well as local amateur sides in the Greater London region.

Code XIII returns on Thursday 8th February at 7pm and Channel L is available on Sky Digital 203, and NTL 878.
