The Other Woman

FLASHBACK: The episode opens with a reluctant Juliet sitting for a meeting with a therapist named Harper. Juliet says she hates being the "center of attention," which makes it seem like this might be a flash forward - but then Tom (aka "Mr. Friendly") appears and says that Ben wants to see Juliet. Tom walks Juliet over to her new house. Juliet is amazed - Ben tells her it's all for her, so she can feel "at home."

Back on the island, Sun asks Juliet why she is building a tent if they are supposedly leaving the next day. Jack comes up and asks if anyone has seen Daniel and Charlotte. Jin said he saw them wander into the jungle, and Jack gets mad that nobody stopped them or mentioned it to him - but Jin says he thought Jack said they were friends. Jack and Juliet set off to search for them and it starts pouring down rain. Suddenly Juliet hears the weirdo jungle whisper noises. She looks around and sees Harper, the therapist, standing there. Harper tells Juliet that Daniel and Charlotte are on their way to The Tempest station to release some poison gas, and Ben has ordered Juliet to go and kill them. Juliet wonders how Ben can give orders - he's a prisoner - but Harper says mysteriously that "Ben is exactly where he wants to be." Jack shows up and points his gun at Harper - she says Jack should go to The Tempest as well. Suddenly Harper vanishes as the whispers trail off.

FLASHBACK: Juliet is crying over a patient who died. Suddenly, Goodwin appears seeking treatment for a burn on his arm that he got from leaning against a heater. Juliet makes a rude comment about Harper, and then Goodwin reveals that Harper is actually his wife. Juliet is embarrassed, and says that if Goodwin promises to not tell his wife what she said about her, she'll promise not to reveal that Goodwin lied about his burn - it's actually a chemical burn from working with dangerous, poisonous chemicals.

Back on the island, Juliet explains to Jack that The Tempest is the electrical station. They head off there.

Elsewhere in the jungle, Daniel and Charlotte are looking at their map by a stream when suddenly Kate comes out of the woods. Kate tells them that Miles is being held by Locke but that he's fine. Kate asks them what they're doing, and Charlotte says they are going in search of batteries for their phones. Kate suspects this is a lie and asks to look in their bags. When she peeks in (and sees gas masks), Charlotte hits her over the head with a pistol.

Jack and Juliet talk about seeing Harper. Juliet says she used to be her therapist. Jack says something about the secrets from his past, and Juliet says "Trust me - you don't want to see my file."

FLASHBACK: Juliet is talking about the island's pregnancy situation with Ben when Goodwin pops his head in. Ben instantly gets jealous, knowing something is up.

Later, Juliet goes to see Harper, who confronts her - she knows Juliet has been having an affair with her husband. Harper demands that Juliet stop the affair, because if Ben finds out there will be "consequences" and she doesn't want Goodwin to get hurt. Harper also says that Ben likes Juliet because she "looks just like her." but she doesn't explain what that means.

At Camp Locke, Claire tells Locke she wants to talk to Miles. Locke refuses this demand, and Claire is frustrated - she wants to know whose boat it is out there.

Locke brings Ben some food in the holding cell, and Ben starts his usual mind games with Locke, saying that Locke's followers might start to revolt soon. Ben finally tells Locke that he has some information that he'll give him if Locke lets him out.

FLASHBACK: Goodwin and Juliet are on a date on a private beach. They talk about their affair - Goodwin says Ben wouldn't care if he knew about it, because he's got bigger things to worry about. It then cuts to the scene of Oceanic Flight 815 exploding - Ben sends Goodwin to go meet with the Tail Section people. Juliet and Goodwin look nervously at each other as Harper looks on.

In the jungle, Juliet and Jack find Kate bleeding from the head. Juliet says she is going to get Kate some water. Kate tells Jack about the gas masks, and they realize Juliet has left.

At Camp Locke, Ben shows Locke a videotape he has kept stored in a safe - the tape is of Charles Widmore beating someone up. Ben tells Locke that THIS is who has been trying to find the island, to exploit it. Ben gives Locke a folder of all the info he has on Widmore. Finally, Locke says he wants one more piece of info: Who is Ben's mole on the freighter? Ben says "You might want to sit down."

Jack and Kate chase Juliet, who arrives at the Tempest and pulls her gun out.

FLASHBACK: Ben invites Juliet over for dinner, tricking her into thinking it's a dinner party when he actually wants some one-on-one time with her. Ben discusses "the list" with her, and he tells Juliet that Goodwin can't come home from his "undercover" assignment just yet. He also tells Juliet that Goodwin has been flirting with Ana-Lucia (but Ben is clearly just trying to make Juliet jealous).

At The Tempest, Juliet pulls the gun on Daniel, who is messing with the computer. Juliet and Charlotte have a fight, but Charlotte says they are trying to NEUTRALIZE the gas, so that Ben doesn't release it and kill everyone on the island. Finally, Juliet puts the gun down and Daniel is able to stop the gas from being released.

FLASHBACK: After talking about Jack being a spinal surgeon, Ben takes Juliet out into the middle of the island, where he shows her Goodwin's murdered body. Ben says he knew about their affair. He tells Juliet: "You're MINE."

Back outside the tempest, Jack and Kate show up. Charlotte says they just saved everyone's lives. Kate goes inside to take a look, but Jack hangs back with Juliet. Juliet says Ben will win this war against these people - and he'll punish Jack because Ben knows that Juliet and Jack care for one another. Jack and Juliet kiss.

At camp Locke, Hurley and Sawyer throw horseshoes. They suddenly see Ben walking by holding some laundry, having been freed by Locke. Ben shouts "see you guys at dinner!"
