There's No Place Like Home, Pt. 1

FLASHFORWARD: A US Coast Guard plane flies through the air. A representative from Oceanic Airlines walks to the back of the plane and sees the Oceanic 6 sitting there: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and Baby Aaron. The woman asks if they will be okay with speaking to the press. Jack says they're fine with that. The woman leaves, and Jack tells the rest of them to "stick to the story."

The plane lands and the Oceanic 6 exit - their families are waiting for them. Kate and Sayid don't have anyone, though.

On the beach, Jack and the Losties are discussing what to do now that they have the satellite phone that Frank threw out of the helicopter. Faraday puts the phone on listen-mode, and they hear Keamy tell Frank that once the copter lands, they are going straight to the Orchid.

Jack wants to follow the copter. He and Kate take off after it (which Juliet disapproves of). Faraday looks through his journal after hearing Keamy use the term "second protocol," and he whispers to Charlotte that they need to leave the island immediately, or they're all going to die.

In the jungle, Kate and Jack run through the bush when Miles appears suddenly with Sawyer carrying baby Aaron. Kate asks where Claire is - Sawyer reveals that she vanished. Sawyer also tells him that the people from the freighter attacked the barracks. Jack still wants to push on to the helicopter. He sends Kate back with baby Aaron and Miles, and Sawyer decides he will go with Jack.

FLASHFORWARD: Oceanic Airlines is holding a press conference for the Oceanic 6. Jack tells the press only 8 people survived the plane crash. Hurley tells the press he no longer wants his lotto winnings. Sun says that Jin died in the crash. Kate says it was terrifying giving birth to a baby on the island. Sayid says that it would be impossible that there are any more survivors out there. After the press conference, Sayid is told there is a woman waiting for him - it's Nadia. They kiss.

On the beach, Sayid starts to ferry people back to the freighter. Kate comes out of the jungle and tells Sayid what happened with the helicopter and that Jack and Sawyer are chasing it.

In another part of the jungle, Ben, Locke and Hurley wander through the brush. Ben says that if Jacob really said that they need to move the island, they need to go to the Orchid station to do it. Ben suddenly stops and starts communicating with someone on the top of a mountain using light bouncing off of a mirror. Locke asks what Ben was saying with his light-code, and Ben says "none of your business."

On the beach, Sayid wants to chase Jack & Sawyer to warn them about the men in the helicopter. Kate goes with him. Faraday starts taking people on the raft, starting with Sun, Jin, baby Aaron, and 3 randoms.

FLASHFORWARD: In Korea, Sun shows up to her father's office and reveals to him that out of revenge for being "one of the two people" responsible for his death, she has bought a controlling interest in his company.

FLASHFORWARD: Hurley's parents throw him a surprise party. Sayid & Nadia and Kate & Aaron are there. Hurley's dad takes him out to give him a gift - a cool car. Hurley sees that the odometer of the car reads "4815162342." He freaks out and runs away.

Locke, Ben, and Hurley show up to the Orchid station and see that Keamy and the freighter folk are already there.

Daniel pulls the raft up to the boat, and Desmond helps them get on. Michael tells Desmond the engines are fixed, but another crew guy tells Desmond there is some major interference, so they can't communicate. Desmond goes to check it out.

Jack and Sawyer reach the satellite phone signal and find Frank handcuffed to the chopper. They free him and he says they have to leave the island - the mercenaries are on there way to kill Ben and whoever is with him. Sawyer realizes that this means Hurley, so they go off to the Orchid anyway to try to save him.

FLASHFORWARD: Jack delivers a eulogy at his father's funeral. Afterwards, a woman approaches him and says that her daughter was on the same plane that crashed. Her daughter was Claire. Jack is shocked. The woman leaves, smiling at baby Aaron, unaware that he is her grandson.

Jin and Sun talk to Michael - they can't believe he's there, and working for Ben. Michael says he's trying to atone for his past crimes against them. Desmond appears, crying for help. They run inside the engine room and see that the boat is rigged with explosives.

In the jungle, Sayid and Kate are trying to catch up to Jack and Sawyer. Suddenly, Richard Alpert and the Others appear - they take Kate and Sayid hostage yet again.

At the Orchid, Ben tells Locke specific instructions on what he needs to do once he gets inside the station. Suddenly, Ben stands up and walks out towards Keamy saying "I am Benjamin Linus." Keamy pistolwhips Ben in the face.
