Altrincham is a settlement just off the old Roman road from Chester to London in an area that had 7th century Anglo Saxon settlers from the South. A textile producing town which subsequently developed as a residential area during the 19th century.

She also visits Dunham Massey Hall, one of the most impressive stately homes in the North West, with sumptuous Edwardian interiors, and finds out what restoration work takes place to keep the hall in such fine condition for the public.
