Ross Kemp has received international recognition as an investigative journalist for his critically acclaimed and award-winning documentary series Ross Kemp on Gangs.

Ross Kemp on Gangs was awarded a BAFTA in 2007 for Best Factual Series.

In 2006 the first series of Ross Kemp on Gangs saw Ross interviewing gang members around the world in Brazil, Maori gangs in New Zealand, neo Nazi skinheads in California and gangsters in London.

The second series featured gangs including MS13 from El Salvador, neo-Nazis in Russia, American Bloods and Crips in St Louis and the Numbers gang in South Africa.

Ross has a distinguished career which has seen him perform on stage, television, and movies. Many people will know Ross as the actor who rose to prominence in the role of Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap opera East Enders.

More recently Ross starred in an episode of Ricky Gervais's Extras.

Following on from the previous success of Ross Kemp on Gangs, the third series starts Mondays at 9pm from 1st October on SkyOne.

Ross has recently returned from filming in Afghanistan; a new series for SkyOne which sees Ross experience firsthand the British Army's attempts at bringing peace to the world's most volatile regions.
