It feels like I started my television career back when telly transmitted in black and white. My first job was working on the news desk of a very reputable news station called Live TV - famed for the news bunny and topless darts! Obviously, this catapulted me into the glamorous heights of television news.
I later went to work as a freelance presenter-reporter for a satellite station dedicated to a little known football team called London United. When they discovered I knew nothing about football, I ran away and joined Channel L at its very inception.
In those days, the whole station was held together with double-sided sticky tape and elastic bands. As the station's grown so have my abilities, experience and passion for what Channel L stands for, to such a degree I truly believe I am Channel L. My specialities lie in entertainment - from music to theatre, art to comedy, I love it all.
It's not good enough to do the job you have to live it.
